A Transformation!

From a medium reddish brown, it only took me one lightening process to get her to where I needed her in order to achieve this blonde!
Once she was nice and light, I had a whole lot of brass to get rid of. So I then toned her with an ash mixed with a neutral blonde. She also requested a shadow root, since she is naturally dark, she didn't want any harsh lines when it started to grow out.
Once she left, and got into the sunlight and up close in a mirror, she realized there were a couple of spots in her hair, that just didn't take the color quite right.
She had been on multiple allergy medications, so we go the feeling that this may have played a part in this outcome, but I was more than happy to have her come back in the very next day so I could resolve any issues.
When she got here, she also decided she wanted to be just a touch lighter, no problem!
I applied Kenras' lightest ash blonde all over with High Lift Blonding Cream added. After processing, the same spots still weren't budging much, I wiped away the color and applied a quick toner which resolved our issue in a flash!
I feel as if without Olaplex, we would have caused a lot of unnecessary damage, but instead she left her with amazingly soft and shiny hair!
I would also like to note that she let me know before we started that NO ONE has ever been able to remove the brass from her hair in the past, so I'm feeling very accomplished and glad I could give her the transformation she desired!
